Hi, I’m Anastasia!
I am a portrait and fine art photographer based in Cambridge, MA.
I help creatives, brands and publications elevate their work with vibrant, authentic images.
Drawing upon my experience in visual storytelling, portraiture and fashion, I make engaging, striking portraits that inspire connection and spark curiosity.
Ready to elevate your visual voice through thought-provoking photography?
Here’s how we can work together
Portrait Photography
I use portraiture to find emotional connection with people I photograph and play with formal qualities like shape, light and texture to convey the mood and atmosphere and bring in a sense of mystery and tension.
I am interested in making images that are unexpected and playful, whether they are created with an editorial story in mind, or for a private commission.
Brand Photography
I help creative entrepreneurs and organizations bring out the essence of their brand by using collaborative portraiture to tell personal brand stories that inspire and engage.
I also work with brands on developing and shooting campaigns, using a mix of portrait, fashion and still life photography.
Whether you’ve been in the industry for a while, or are building your brand from scratch, I’d love to help you amplify your work and connect with your audience.

Bio
I am originally from Russia and came to the US to pursue a career in translation. In 2007 I accidentally took a photography class and soon became wildly obsessed with image making.
I currently divide my time between shooting commissioned work and pursuing personal photography projects. I use the camera to connect deeper with the people, things and places I photograph, recording moments of quiet intensity and making order out of chaos.
My personal work explores the themes of motherhood, womanhood and relationships. I use light, color and texture to create vivid and intimate images that inhabit the space between the real and the imaginary and provide a sense of escape, while still capturing the beauty and fragility of everyday life.
I graduated from the Center of Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University and have attended classes at ICP, School of Visual Arts, MassArt and New England School of Photogrphy.
I live in Cambridge, MA with my husband and our son.
